PolarView MX is a marine navigation application providing off-line marine chart viewer, live GPS ship on a chart display and offline ActiveCaptain point of interest (POI) display.
It is the only application that includes native support for standard vector (ENC) charts and raster (RNC) charts. PolarView MX provides fast rendering and seamlessly quilted chart view. Charts are downloaded to local storage and can be used without permanent Internet connection.
PolarView MX includes built-in download of free NOAA vector and raster charts.
PolarView MX integrates extensive ActiveCaptain point of interest (POI) database. ActiveCaptain data is submitted by other sailors and includes marinas, anchorages, hazards and general information and "local knowledge"
